The 30X40 inch frame is hand-carved in the Bajuni style—the original Swahili woodcarving tradition, from locally reclaimed neem tree logs and finished with a natural wood stain extracted from mangrove bark. Every natural grain and mark within the wood is embraced, preserving its unique narrative of survival and renewal.
